Allen Meadows - Score: 94 (2016 March)

As was the case when I originally reviewed this (see herein), there is just enough reduction present to remark upon though not so much as to mask the sublimely elegant aromas of white flowers, citrus, pear and wet stone. This refined introduction is followed by stony and beautifully precise flavors that possess a positively gorgeous mouth feel before terminating in a driving, citrusy and stony finish that delivers superb persistence. This is an unusually fresh and energetic 2009 and while it could easily be enjoyed now it's clear that this should continue to develop well for another few years. That duly noted, it's no longer infanticide to consider opening a bottle over the next few years.
